Roger Parsons – Drums
Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, I joined the Air Force in 1984 and retired from active duty in 2023. I spent the latter part of my career at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia as a photographer and videographer. My love of music started at five years old when my grandma bought me a drum set much to the chagrin of my parents. I played drums all throughout my life and was formally trained on the trumpet throughout middle and high school. Raised in church from the time I was born, I spent many years playing drums, trumpet, guitar, and bass in bands at various churches throughout my life. I’m lucky that music runs in our family. My wife Vicki was a music pastor for more than 20 years and both my children are fulltime professional musicians. Now that I’m retired from the Air Force and not travelling nonstop, I’m enjoying playing music more.
